Hobby Lobby Manufacturing

The company that is now known as Hobby Lobby Manufacturing was originally named Worldwood and was created in 1988 to make Hobby Lobby store fixtures beginning with stores 17 and 18. Worldwood existed within 15,000 square feet and had 13 employees. The facility moved to S. W.38th street and increased their size to 140,000 square feet in May,1993. Fashion Gear (The t-shirt, pillow, and table runner division of HL Mfg. ) was added that same year, and then in 1996 Endless Possibilities became a reality (Producing candles, potpourri and other scented products). In 1999 all three divisions moved to their current locations. Greco Frames joined in November,2004 with the capacity to produce 3,000 custom frames a day and 60,000 full-size and pre-cut decorative matboards a week. In July,2005 the Print Shop was also added to the newly formed Hobby Lobby Manufacturing family. All five divisions of Hobby Lobby Manufacturing are now housed within 500,000 square feet.
