Crescent jute products limited was established in 1965 and is the largest jute mills in the country. It is a vertically integrated firm with operation in all sectors of jute industry from spinning to stitching. The manufacturing facility in jaranawala (Central punjab) is spread over an area of 127 acres comprising of 500 conventional and 60 shuttles-less looms and the requisite back process. Cjp employs a workforce of 3, 000 and has the capacity to produce 30, 000 metric tons / year of jute goods comprising of a mix of sacking, hessian and yarn / twine.
