Bakhsh group was established in 1965 by the founder hometown, the city of jeddah, and aregional center of commerce for many centuries, located on the red sea at the western part of the kingdom. The main activities of general trading was complemented by expanded into generalconstruction as the kingdom embarked to execute major construction drive to create thecountry's infrastructure staring in middle of 1970's. The construction activities path the road to participate in the construction of major highway between the holy city of mecca and, a major military mountainous base (approximately 160km), the construction of coast guards monitoring posts along the western coasts, major housing projects in a newly (then) developed industrial city of jubail at the eastern cost of the kingdom, on the arabian gulf sea. To capture the abundance growth opportunities in the eastern region of the country, the group relocated its head office from jeddah to the city of al-khobar in 1983, and the business was passed-on to the second generation of the family
