Develops, markets and operates computerized fleet management systems and protection systems for both vehicle and passenger. Starcom's systems combine cellular infrastructure(GSM/GPRS, TDMA, CDMA/1X, etc. ) and GPS work in a smart LCU(Location Command Unit), installed in the client's vehicle.

GPS(Global Positioning System)

GPSwas developed in the USA and works via a 24-satellite-system that orbits around the planet and transmits signals onto the Earth's surface.

The signals are collected by the GPS card, which indicates the exact location(within 2 meters) of the vehicle.

In addition to location, the GPS card can provide speed, direction of travel, number of satellites received and altitude.

GPS is the most progressive and reliable navigation and location systems available in the world today.

Alarm System Card

The alarm system card is integrated into the LCU. The card features include:

Protection for each of the vehicles openings

Conforms to the most stringent protection requirements worldwide

Built-in immobilizer.

Connected to a reliable motion sensor

Towing detector, which provides indication to the control center when the vehicle is stolen by means of towing it away from its parking spot.

Circumvention detector, which provides indication to the control center when an attempt is made to circumvent the alarm system.
