Monastrel is a local grape full of flavour, taste and body, resulting rounder, fruitier wines. This grape is, as well, practically unknown outside of Spain, which make it exclusive, and a very special and delightful surprise.
We are producers of any type of red wines. Actually, our capacity is 700.000 bottles per year, increasing to reach the amount over 1 million, from economic range to expensive high quality ones.
We are producers, as well, of white and rose wines.
We can offer reds in the four traditional Spanish quality levels, which correspond to the amount of aging (in wooden barrels or in bottle) the wines receive before release, which are called in Spain, in order of increasing age and price, cosecha, crianza, reserva (one year aging in oak barrels) and gran reserva (two years or more in oak barrels)
Our most popular brand is CIANO.
This brand covers a wide range of young and aged red wines (blends in different percentages, and varietal 100% from Monastrel grape). Its properties include rich and inky colour, excellent fruity smell and robust body, even without aging procedures.
