Silk Road Spice and Tea Company

We are a Central Asian Company with a new location in Rapid City, South Dakota. Rapid City was chosen because of its central location in the United States and because it is the home town of the sales director. Rapid City also offers a central location to distribute our products to any point in the USA.

We specialize in CENTRAL ASIAN SPICES, TEAS, as well as accessories for these products such as Tea Pots, Brewers, Tea Sets, Spice Racks, and other tableware and decorations.

Our company was founded in 1998 and currently operates in China, India, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Tajikistan, and Iran. We are expanding to the USA and Russia by April 2005.

Our products are very affordable for several reasons;

We buy direct from the producers, who are also usually the processors who prepare the spices and teas for the market.

We have a small but effective sales force who are also the buyers.

We do not stock pile or warehouse large amounts of product.

We combine orders with other products to cut shipping costs.

We buy at the right times, and places to take advantage of sellers discounts due to over production, end of season, or before any shortage appears due to weather or political conditions.

Because of this our products wills ell for up to 60% lower than the big companies, and in most cases be equal or superior to their products.
