GSL (INDIA) LIMITED, formerly known as Gujarat Spinners Limited, GSL was promoted by the Bagrodia family and the Gujarat State Textile Corporation ( GSTC ) as joint sector company in the year 1982 to manufacture Synthetic Blended Yarn. GSL commenced its commercial production as a spinning unit in the year 1984 with installed capacity of 6048 spindles in village Amletha, Dist. Narmada ( then Bharuch ), State of Gujarat, India, which is about 55 km from Bharuch and 100 Km from Baroda. The Company was granted Pioneer Status for establishing the mill in the notified backward area of Gujarat.GSL position as a mojor business entity in the Synthetic yarn spinning industry, has further consolidated by its uncompromising quality standards, sharply focused management & result oriented performance.
